the
TAPE
LENGTH

changed

time
gauge

displayed,
the
tape
indicator
will
disappear
for
a
while
until
the
correct
tape
position
is
indicated.

The
time
gauge
works
by
detecting
the
control
signal
on
recorded
tapes.
It
will
therefore
not
function
with
tapes
that
have
not
yet
been
recorded.

With
E-180
cassette
tapes
on
SP
mode,
one
graduation
of
the
time
gauge
on
the
on-screen
display
indicates
about
23
minutes.

The
ON-SCREEN
OPERATION
DATA
are
not
indicated
when
the
DATA
ON
SCREEN
on
the
INITIAL
SET-UP
menu
is
set
to
OFF.

Any
ON-SCREEN
OPERATION
DATA
are
not
indicated
when
playing
back
an
NTSC
recorded
tape.
