6-4. The thermal trimming operation
There are 3 operation switches for thermal trimming operation.
Switch changes between Automatic (normal mode) and Manual (test mode).
Switch
changes the validity of the thread trimmer.
Switch
changes the validity of the needle thread device to valid (needle/bobbin thread)
or invalid (only bobbin thread).
6-4-1. Manual / Test mode conversion switch (NO.)
When this switch is ON, operation mode is changed to test mode.
In this mode, each cylinder can be operated separately by the teaching panel.
Please refer to 7-6 Test mode operation in the following page.

The lower and upper thermal thread trimming device switch work as like below table.

Validating the setting
(1) Set the changeover switch (1) to Manual (test mode).
(2) Press
K
on the Manual (test mode) screen for one second or longer.
(Confirm that a beep is sounded, and that "Needle Thread Trim" and "Bobbin
Thread Trim" are displayed.) Refer to the test mode operation methods given in
section 7-6.
K
is valid when all cylinders are in the default mode. (The default mode refers
to the state when "Return" is pressed in the test mode operation methods
explained in section 7-6.)
Setting is possible by the operation [ON] and [OFF] of the power switch. This is
same operation as PLK-B1008H.
