4.5 Enter a pause
If your IT.6XC is connected to a switchboard, you may need to enter a pause in a stored
number. This gives the switchboard time to get an outside line. A pause is normally stored
after the switchboard access code (e.g. 9)
1. When storing a number, press and hold # until the display shows
P.
You can then
continue storing the phone number.
4.6 View an entry
In standby:
1. Press
Menu
.
Phonebook
is displayed.
2. Press
OK. View
is highlighted, press
OK
.
3. The rst number in the phonebook is displayed. Scroll u or d to the entry you want.
Or
To search alphabetically, press the key with the rst letter of the name, e.g. if the name
begins with N, press 6 twice.
The display shows the rst entry beginning with N. If required, press u or d to scroll
to the exact entry.
4. Press
View
to view the number.
During a call:
1. Press
Pb
to open the phonebook menu.
2. Enter the rst letter of the name you want then scroll u or d if necessary to the exact
name. Press
View
to display the number.
3. Press
Back
to cancel the phonebook display.
4. Press e again to end the call.
4.7 Edit an entry
1. Press
Menu
.
Phonebook
is displayed.
2. Press
OK
, scroll d to
Edit
.
3. Press
OK,
the rst number in the phonebook is displayed. Scroll u or d to the entry
you want or search alphabetically and press
OK
.
4. Edit the name and press
OK
to conrm. Press
Clear
to delete characters.
5. Edit the number. Press
Save
to conrm. Press
Clear
to delete digits.
6. Press e to return to standby.
