7. Personal settings
7.1 Handset tones
IMPORTANT
When the phone is ringing, avoid holding the earpiece too close to your ear as it may
damage your hearing.
7.1.1 Ring volume
Choose from 5 levels and o.
1. Press Menu , scroll d to Personal Set and press OK .
2. Sounds is displayed. Press OK .
3. Ring volume is displayed. Press OK .
4. Scroll u or d to adjust the ringer volume level.
5. Press OK to save the settings.
6. Press e to return to standby.
7.1.2 Ring tone
Choose from 10 ringer melodies.
1. Press Menu , scroll d to Personal Set and press OK .
2. Sounds is displayed. Press OK .
3. Scroll d to Ring tones and press OK .
4. Scroll u or d to select the required melody.
A sample of the melody is played.
5. Press OK to conrm.
6. Press e to return to standby.
7.1.3 Silent mode
You can set your IT.6XC to silent mode, when this is switched on your phone will remain
silent when the phone rings for the time set.
1. Press Menu , scroll d to Personal Set and press OK .
2. Sounds is displayed. Press OK .
3. Scroll d to Silent mode and press OK .
4. On/O is highlighted. Press OK .
5. Scroll u or d to select On or O and press OK .
6. If On is selected scroll d to Start & end and press OK .
7. Enter the start time using the 24 hour format HH:MM , e.g. 14:45 for 02.45pm and press
OK .
