Chapter 8
Voice Operating Transmission
Voice Operating Transmission (VOX) allows you to initiate hands-free voice-activated calls on a
programmed Talkgroup. When your VOX-capable accessory detects voice, your radio automatically
transmits for a programmed period.
VOX is unable to initiate hands-free voice-activated calls if your radio is connected to any Bluetooth
accessories.
NOTE: VOX does not support internal microphone, Bluetooth accessories, or wired radio
speaker microphone. VOX is only supported on VOX capable wired earpiece accessories.
