Maximum Length
Recording ends automatically when the maximum length is reached, the memory card fi lls, the live
view selector is rotated to another setting, or the lens removed. In the following instances, live view
may end automatically to prevent damage to the camera’s internal circuits:
• The ambient temperature is high
• The camera has been used for extended periods in live view or to record movies
• The camera has been used in continuous release mode for extended periods
HDMI
If the camera is connected to an HDMI device during movie recording, the frame size and rate at
which movies are output from the camera may, depending on the HDMI device, diff er from the op-
tion selected for Frame size/frame rate (page 43).
