Completing the Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003
printer connection
To print from Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003, you must:
• Set up network servers, if any.
• Set up the Fiery to accept print jobs from your computer.
• Configure a port on each Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003
computer for the network type.
Note:The procedures for completing the printer connection for
Windows 2000/XP and Windows Server 2003 are similar.
Windows 2000 illustrations are used in the following procedure,
with relevant Windows XP differences noted.
