About the LCD Monitor
n Selecting the screen to be used
A LCD monitor (LCD)
Press the [DISPLAY/LCD MODE] button
to switch to the screen to be used.
• When the menu screen appears, the
[DISPLAY] button is not activated. During
playback zoom (P79), while playing back
motion pictures (P80) and during a slide
show (P95), you can only select “Display”
or “Non-display”.
In recording mode (P26)
B Display
C Display with histogram
D Guide line display *2
E Non-display
*1 Histogram
*2 You can set guide line patterns for
display in the guide line display (P22) in
the setup menu. You can also set
whether to display recording data or
histograms with guide lines or not.
In playback mode (P36)
F Display
G Display with recording information and
histogram
H Non-display
*3 The number of days that have passed
since the travel date is displayed when a
picture was taken with [TRAVEL DATE]
(P70) setting.
*4 Displayed when you set birthday setting
for [BABY1]/[BABY2] in scene mode
(P69), and [WITH AGE] is selected at
taking pictures.
