CAUTION!
♦ This charger can only charge the following
batteries: PAP 20 A1/PAP 20 A2/
PAP20A3.
♦ A current list of battery compatibility can be
found at www.Lidl.de/Akku.
Before use
Charge the battery pack (see fig. E)
CAUTION!
► Always unplug the appliance before you
remove the battery pack
from or connect
the battery pack to the high-speed battery
charger .
NOTE
► Never charge the battery pack at an ambient
temperature of below 10°C or above 40°C.
If a lithium-ion battery is going to be stored
for an extended period, the charge level must
be checked at regular intervals. The optimum
charge level is between 50% and 80%. The
storage climate should be cool and dry and
the ambient temperature should be between
0°C and 50°C.
♦ Insert the battery pack
into the high-speed
battery charger (see figure E).
♦ Insert the power plug into the socket. The red
charge control LED
lights up to indicate that
the appliance is charging.
♦ The green charge indicator LED
indicates
that the charging process is complete and the
battery pack is ready for use. Remove the
power plug from the socket.
♦ Push the battery pack
into the cordless
plunge saw.
Checking the battery charge level
♦ Press the battery charge level button to
check the charge level of the battery.
The status/remaining charge will be shown
on the battery display LED
as follows:
GREEN/RED/ORANGE = maximum charge/
performance
RED/ORANGE = medium charge/performance
RED = low charge – charge the battery
Operation
Check base plate/blade guard
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Always disconnect the battery pack
before carrying out any work on the
appliance.
♦ Before each use, check that the base plate
and blade guard move freely. Activate the
safety lock-out and hold it in position. Lower
the cordless plunge saw. This allows you to
check the function of the base plate and
protective hood . They must move freely.
They must not jam.
♦ After letting go, they must be able to move
smoothly back to their starting positions of their
own accord.
Switching on and off
Turn on
♦ Activate the safety lock-out
and hold it in
position.
♦ Press the ON/OFF switch
. Once the machine
is running, you can release the safety lock-out .
Switching off
♦ Release the ON/OFF switch
