Guide the thread through from the right bet-
ween the tension discs and pull the thread
tight from both sides.
Feed the thread into the guide (5) for the up-
per looper thread.
Feed the thread into the guide (6) for the up-
per looper thread. Guide the thread into the
take-up lever (7) of the upper looper thread.
Feed the thread into the guide (8) of the up-
per looper. Feed the looper threading aid
through the eye in the upper looper. Then
hook the thread end into the looper thread-
ing aid and pull the latter with the thread
through the eye. Remove the thread from
the looper threading aid and pull on the free
thread end until at least 10 cm (4”) is
showing beyond the eye. Lay the thread to
the left under the presser foot. Close the
swivel plate and the looper cover.
