ADJUSTING CONTROL CABLE SPLITTER
- adjust set screw on the throttle control to the han-
dlebar in such a way that there is no backlash on
the throttle control.
CARBURETTOR CABLE:
- adjust the set screw on the carburettor in such a
way that the sheath has no backlash.
MIXER CABLE:
- Using the transmission set screw on the crank-
case, with throttle control untwisted, adjust the
reference mark on the rotating plate so that it is
lined up with the reference mark on the mixer
body, as shown in the figure.
MIXER PUMP PURGE
Operation to be carried out in the event of removal
or depletion of the oil in the tank.
To perform this operation, the engine must be
powered with a 2% oil mixture.
- Refill the fuel tank with at least 0.5 litres of the
prescribed mixture.
- Refill the oil tank.
- With the mixer fitted and the engine off, discon-
nect the oil delivery pipe from the carburettor and
loosen the bleed screw until the oil starts to flow.
