Sparkplugdismantlement (03_08)
Remove the spark-plug access door, on the RHS fairing of the vehicle, by loosening
the fixing screw and using a flat screwdriver to release the aft clip, and then proceed
as follows:
1. Detach the spark-plug cap, «A»;
2. Use the supplied box-spanner to loosen the spark-plug;
3. Refit the spark-plug by screwing it in by hand, and with the correct inclination;
4. The box-spanner should only be used to tighten the spark-plug;
5. Refit the spark-plug cap, «A»;
6. Refit the spark-plug access door, minding the aft catch clip.
N.B.
USE OF SPARK PLUGS OTHER THAN THE INDICATED TYPE OR UNSHIELDED
SPARK PLUG CAPS CAN LEAD TO FAULTS IN THE VEHICLE 'S ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM.
WARNING
THE SPARK PLUG MUST BE REMOVED WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD. THE
SPARK PLUG SHOULD BE CHECKED EVERY 6,000 KM AND CHANGED EVERY
