4. PROBLEMS
If the UPS system is not operating correctly, please troubleshoot using the table below.
Symptom
Possible Causes
Repair
There is no indication (indicator) and
alarm even though the main electricity
is normal.
The AC input cable is not
connected properly.
Check that the input cable is
properly connected to the
UPS.
Icon and warning code flash,
LCD screen and alarm beeps every
second.
EPO enabled.
Set the circuit in the closed
position to disable EPO.
Icon and flashes
on the LCD screen and alarm beeps
every second.
The external or internal
battery is not connected
properly.
Check that all batteries are
well connected.
Icons and flashes on
the LCD screen and alarm beeps
continuously.
UPS overload.
Remove excess load from UPS
output.
UPS overload. Devices
connected to the UPS are fed
directly by the power grid via
Bypass.
Remove excess load from UPS
output
After repeated overloads, the
UPS is locked in Bypass mode.
Devices connected directly to
a power source.
Remove excess load from UPS
output first. Then turn off the
UPS and turn it back on.
The error code displayed is 43. Light
icons on the LCD screen
and alarm beeps continuously.
UPS overloaded for too long
and became a problem. Then
the UPS will turn off
automatically.
Remove excess load from UPS
output and turn it back on.
Error code displayed 14, light icon
on LCD screen, and alarm
beeps continuously.
The UPS does not activate
automatically because a short
circuit occurs in the UPS
Output.
Check the wiring of the output
and if the connected device is
short-circuited.
Other error codes will be displayed on
the LCD screen and alarm beeps
continuously.
An internal UPS error has
occurred.
Contact your dealer
Battery backup time shorter than face
value
The battery is not fully
charged
Charge the battery for at least
7 hours and then check the
capacity. If the problem
persists, contact your dealer.
Faulty battery
Contact your dealer to replace
the battery.
The icon
flashes on the LCD screen and the
alarm beeps every second.
UPS temperature is too high.
Check the fan and notify the
dealer.
UPS could not be activated, Icon
It flashes on the LCD screen and the
alarm beeps every second.
The maintenance switch
cover opens.
Check that the cover of the
maintenance switch is
screwed down tightly.
