2-3. One UPS Installation
Installation and wiring must be done in accordance with local electrical laws/regulations and carried
out the following instructions by professional personnel.
1) Make sure the electrical wiring and breakers in the building are sufficient for UPS capacity to avoid
the danger of electric shock or fire.
NOTE:
Do not use a wall socket as an input power source for the UPS, because its current capacity
is less than the maximum input current of the UPS. Another thing that can happen, the socket can
burn and will be destroyed.
2) Turn off electrical switches in the building before installation.
3) Turn off all connected devices before connecting to the UPS.
4) Prepare the cable based on the following table:

NOTE 1:
It is recommended to use the appropriate cable in the table above or thicker
for safety and efficiency.
NOTE 2:
The choice of cable color must be followed by local electrical laws and regulations.
1) Remove the terminal block cover on the back panel of the UPS. Then connect the wires according to the
following terminal block diagram: (Connect the ground wire first when making the wire connection.
Disconnect the last ground wire connection when making a cable break!)

Output Neutral Ground
NOTE 1:
Make sure that the cable is firmly connected with the terminals.
NOTE 2:
Install an output breaker between the output terminal and the load, and the breaker
(breaker) must be qualified with current leakage protection function if
Needed.
2) Attach the terminal block cover back to the back panel of the UPS.
Warning:
(For standard models only)
Make sure the UPS is not turned on before installation begins. The UPS does not have to be turned
on during wired connection.
Do not attempt to modify the standard model to a Long-Run model. In particular, do not try
Connect a standard built-in battery to an external battery. Battery type and voltage may be
different. If you connect the two, it may cause harm electric shock or fire!
Warning:
(For long-run models only)
Ensure DC breaker or other protection device between UPS and external battery
Installed. If not, please install carefully. Turn off the Battery breaker before installation
