9.3. Autozero function
In order to ensure precise indication of balance, „AUTOZERO” function was
introduced. The application of this function is automatic control and correction of
zero indication of balance.
When function is active comparison of results takes place at declared time
intervals e.g. every 1 s, only when the pan is unloaded and results are close to
zero.
If results vary by value smaller than declared AUTOZERO range e.g. one
division, balance will zero automatically and stable result marker– and
zero indication – will be displayed.
When AUTOZERO function is on each result starts from precise zero. However
there are some cases where this function can be disturbance at measurements.
Such instance is very slow placing of load on the pan (e.g. load pouring) in such
case correction system of zero indication can also correct indication of real mass
of load.
Procedure:
AUTOZERO OFF – autozero off
AUTOZERO On - autozero on.
