Airplane mode
If you see icon displayed on the Settings charm, the
Airplane mode is on. You should turn off the Airplane mode to
enable the wireless network.
1. Tap
to go to the Networks bar.
2. Set the Airplane mode to Off by moving the slider to the
left.
3. The device will scan Wi-Fi networks automatically and
display the available names.
The Airplane mode disables the wireless connections, allowing
you to use your tablet safely while in-fl ight.

4. Select an access point from the list of available Wi-Fi
connections, than tap Connect.
5. When you are prompted for a password, enter your
password and tap Next.
• If the device finds a network that you connected to
previously, it will connect to it automatically.
