10.0 SYSTEM CHARGING
10.1 ORIFICE SIZE
The air handler comes standard with a flow check piston installed. The piston may need
to be changed to a different orifice size depending upon the outdoor unit. The table
below lists the recommended orifice size for various outdoor units.
10.2 CHARGING CHARTS
When charging the unit during cooling, the factory charging chart that comes with the
outdoor unit can be used. When charging the system in heating, use the charging charts
listed below for the various outdoor units.
