Memorizing the Channels & Setting the Channels
When you turn on the TV for the first time, you should perform an auto channel scan to set up stations on your TV.
Note: Be sure to select the TV input source before operation.
Auto Channel Scan
You should perform an auto channel scan to search for all channels
available and stores them in memory.

To auto scan for channels:

Go to CHANNEL menu.

Press 6 or 5 to highlight Auto Scan, then press ENTER.
The TV begins scanning for available channels in your area and stores
them into memory. This may take several minutes, please wait.
During the process, you may press EXIT to stop the auto scan, but
you will need to run the auto scan again to set up stations on your TV.
Auto/Manual fine tuning
To auto or manual fine tune the programs

Press 6 or 5 to highlight Channel Edit, then press ENTER.

Press 6 or 5to highlight FineTune, then use 3or4 to manually
fine tune until the best possible picture and sound are achieved.
Or you can turn AFC function to ON to automatically fine tune the
program.
In Channel Edit sub-menu, highlight AFC and press 4, use 6 or 5
to select ON and then press ENTER.
If you perform manual fine tuning, the AFC function will be turned off
automatically.

Fine Tuning is not necessary under normal conditions. However, in area
of inferior broadcast conditions where adjustment is necessary for a
better picture and sound, use fine tuning (auto or manual fine tuning) .
Go to CHANNEL menu.

To return to previous menu, press MENU. To close the menu, press
EXIT button.
Setting the AIR/CABLE option
To set the AIR/CABLE option:

Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
Press 6 or 5 to display CHANNEL menu, then press ENTER.

Before your TV can memorize the available channels, you must specify
the type of signal source that is connected to the unit. (i.e., an antenna or
cable system)
Highlight AIR/CABLE, then press ENTER.

Press 6 or 5 to select AIR or CABLE, then press ENTER.
Select CABLE if using Cable TV, select AIR if using VHF/UHF antenna.

To exit, press EXIT button.
