When using the knee lifter, the stan-
dard height of the presser foot is
10mm.

Caution
When the presser foot lift to over 10
You can adjust the presser foot lift
up to 13mm by turning the knee
lifter adjusting screw '1'.
Turn the presser foot lifter '1' in
direction 'A' to lift the presser foot.
The presser foot will go up about
5.5 mm and stop.
The presser foot will go back to its
original position when the lifter is
turned down in direction 'B'.

Loosen the nut '2' and turn the
presser spring regulator '1' clock-
wise (in direction A), the pressure
of the presser foot will be
increased.
Turn the regulator '1' counter-
clockwise (in direction B), the pres-
sure of the presser foot will be
decreased.
Tighten nut '2'.
For general sewing of the fabrics,
the standard height of the presser
spring regulator '1' will be around
29~30 mm (4.5 kg).
