7 Extension connectors
Six extension connectors are implemented on the STM32U5 Nucleo-144 board:
Zio connectors (CN7, CN8, CN9, and CN10) supporting ARDUINO
®
Uno V3
ST morpho connectors (CN11 and CN12)

Uno V3
The Zio connectors (CN7, CN8, CN9, and CN10) are female connectors supporting the ARDUINO
®
Uno V3
standard. Most shields designed for ARDUINO
®
can fit the Nucleo board.
Caution: Most of the STM32 microcontroller I/Os are 5 Vtolerant, but few of them are only 3V3compatible, while
ARDUINO
®
Uno V3 is 5 Vcompatible. Refer to the STM32U5 Series data brief and STM32U5xx product
datasheets for their I/O structure.
