the reservoir using a uid extractor (26).
12. Dispose of the oil according to local regula-
tions.
1. Fill the uid reservoir with fresh uid.
2. Check that the rear axle’s clutch release
lever is disengaged. Move the lever (15 A) in
position A2.
Place two wooden planks (4-5 cm thick)
in front of the rear wheels (so they are
touching the tyres)to make sure the
machine stays stationary during the fol-

3. Release the parking brake. Fully depress and
release the accelerator pedal (12: B).
WARNING: the following operations
must be performed with the engine
bonnet open and the engine running.
Keep hands well away from moving
parts.

5. Disengage the front axle’s clutch release le-
ver. Move the lever (15: B) in position B2.
NOTE! The oil is drawn into the system
in a continuous manner until it remains
sure air is not drawn into the system
(something which must never be allo-
wed to happen).
6. Set the accelerator pedal to the forward posi-
tion, locking it using a wooden wedge (28).
7. Run in the forward position for one minute.
8. Move the wooden wedge and set the accele-

lling with oil.
9. Run in reverse mode for one minute.
10. Change driving direction every minute as
indicated above and continue lling with oil
until the bubbling in the reservoir stops.
11. Switch o the engine, replace the cover
(23:B) on the uid tank and close the bonnet.
12. Activate the machine at various speeds for

9.9 STEERING
For the frequency of this intervention
see chapter 13.
9.9.1 Checks
Gently turn the steering wheel back and forth.
There must be no mechanical play in the steering
chains.
9.9.2
Adjust the steering chains if required as follows:
1. Put the machine in the straight-ahead posi-
tion.
2. Adjust the steering chains by means of the
two nuts, located under the central point (29).
3. Adjust both nuts by the same amount until
there is no play.
4. Test drive the machine, moving it forward in
a straight line and checking that the steering
wheel is not o centre.
5. If the steering wheel is o centre, slacken
one nut and tighten the other.
Do not over tension the steering chains.
and increase wear on the chains.
