16. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The engine does not start or
starts badly
The engine brake cable is faulty or
unfastened
Adjust and/or replace the cable

The OFF microswitch is faulty
Replace the whole shut-down group

Coil earth connection
Check electrical cabling of earth wire

Earth wire is attened
Replace the whole shut-down group

The coil is faulty and does not supply

Check and clean the carburettor
