English 15 Checking the Controls
► Always hold and operate the sprayer with one hand firmly
on the spray gun.
To switch the sprayer on:
► Move the rocker switch (1) to position .
The LED (2) will glow green and a short beep will sound.
The sprayer is ready for operation.
The sprayer will switch off automatically if the trigger switch
is not activated for approximately 15 minutes. The LED (2)
will go out and a short beep will sound. To re-activate the
sprayer:
► Move the rocker switch (1) to position and then to
position .
14.2 Switching Off
To switch the sprayer off:
► Move the rocker switch (1) to position .
The LED (2) will go out.
15.1 Testing the Controls
Before starting work, confirm that the retaining latch (1) and
trigger switch (2) are undamaged and functioning properly.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury and property damage
from unintentional starting, always wear proper protective
equipment, including respiratory and eye protection while
testing the controls. Keep bystanders away from the working
area.
To test the controls:
► Remove the battery.
► Slide the retaining latch to the position (1).
► Attempt to depress the trigger switch.
If the trigger switch can be depressed without first
unlocking the retaining latch, take the sprayer to an
authorized STIHL servicing dealer to be repaired before
use.
► Slide the retaining latch to the position.
