BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT
• Remove the brake pad mounting pin.
• Remove the brake pads.
L ACAUTION
* Do not operate the brake lever during or after brake
pad removal.
* Replace the brake pads as a set , otherwise braking
performance will be adversely affected .
• Install the new brake pads.
A WARNING
Make sure that the brake pad is properly engaged with
the guide plate as shown in the photograph .
• Tiohten thf! hr"kf! p"rI mnl Intina pin to thE' spE'cifiE'd torque.
C!J Brake pad mounting pin: 18 N·m (1 .8 kgf-m , 13.0 Ib-ft)
NOTE :
After replacing the brake pads. pump the brake lever a few times
to check for proper brake operation and then check the brake
fluid level.
