Using noise cancelling
While using the noise cancelling function, changes the volume and sound quality. The sound quality is set so
that it is optimised for each level.
∫ About noise cancelling level
You can select one of the following levels to suit your preference.
• The default level setting is “Noise cancelling High”.
– Noise cancelling High
– Noise cancelling Medium
– Noise cancelling Low
1 Press [NC].
• Each press of [NC] switches between three levels and Off.

• While using the noise cancelling function, the noise cancelling LED
lights in green.
2 Adjust the volume of the playback device.
Note
• While using the noise cancelling function, a very small amount of noise which is generated from the circuit that
reduces noise may be heard, but this is normal and not indicative of any trouble. (This very-low-level noise may be
heard in quiet places or in the blank parts between tracks.)
• If [NC] is pressed for at least approx. 2 seconds, the audio guidance will announce the current level.
• It is possible to switch the audio guidance between English and French. (
