only
There
are
2
ways
to
record
from
compact
discs,
normal
recording
and
one-touch
editing.
Norma!
recording
EH
In
normal
recording,
no
blank
space
is
left
at
the
end
of
side
A.
But,
this
means
a
track
will
be
cut
off
in
the
middle
when
the
end
of
the
side
is
reached.
Tins
method
can
also
be
used
to
record
onto
a
tape
from
a
desired
point
halfway
through
one
side,
or
to
record
from
programmed
CDs.
One-touch
editing
[Al
EDIT]
E
The
tape
deck
automatically
reads
the
length
of
the
loaded
tape,
and
then
calculates
which
tracks
go
on
which
side
of
the
tape
so
that
no
track
is
cut
in
the
middle
when
the
tape
reaches
either
end.
Recording
will
begin
from
the
first
track
of
the
disc
shown
on
the
display.
It
will
continue
through
the
last
track
on
disc
5
and
will
then
stop
automatically.
One-touch
editing
operation:
1.
The
cassette
deck
will
fast-forward
and
rewind
to
measure
its
length.
2.
The
cassette
deck
will
advance
the
tape
beyond
the
leader
tape,
and
then
stop.
3.
The
CD
changer
assigns
tracks
to
tape
side
A
and
B,
and
displays
the
result.
In
addition
to
the
above
information,
the
remaining
time
of
tape
side
A
and
B
will
be
displayed.
4.
Actual
recording
starts.
5.
When
the
first
CD
has
been
recorded,
the
deck
will
start
recording
the
next
CD
if
there
is
enough
room
on
the
tape.
If
so,
"LINK"
will
appear
on
the
display.
Notes
Use
a
tape
of
under
99
minutes.
You
cannot
edit-record
tracks
numbering
higher
than
24.
In
one-touch
editing,
you
cannot
record
from
programs
that
contain
selections
from
two
or
more
discs.
