This unit lets you enjoy the KARAOKE fun with audio CDs and
audio tapes.
fl First, lower volume with MIC volume control,
then, connect the microphone to the MIC jack.
Plug type: 6.3 min monaural
H Press KARAOKE to select the voice mode.
Each time the button is pressed, the display will change in the
following order:

A bar is indicated in the above table when the voice mode is least
effective. It is better to avoid using the mode in such cases.
FI Start the source (CD, etc.).
El Adjust volume with VOLUME and MIC volume
control, and sing along.
To cancel the KARAOKE:
Press KARAOKE to select "OFF" mode.
You cannot use “KARAOKE” function with:
•a tone quality effect (HALL, HEAVY, CLEAR, MANUAL and ACOUSTIC
IMAGE EQ effect)
•a radio source
To record your “KARAOKE” performance:
Start recording in deck 2, then start "KARAOKE" performance.
To playback the tape recorded in "KARAOKE" mode, press KARAOKE so that
the KARAOKE indicator goes out.
You cannot record in “KARAOKE" mode using:
•a tone quality effect (HALL, HEAVY, CLEAR, MANUAL and ACOUSTIC
IMAGE EQ effect)
• a broadcast
When using the V. MUTE (Voice Mute) function
Always use software recorded in stereo. Voice mute may not function suffi¬
ciently or noise may interfere when using the following software.
• Monoaural software
•Software with few musical instruments, including classic music and poetry
recitations
•Software with duets or strong choruses
Using the Echo Effect Q
Press ECHO.
Each time the button is pressed, the effect will change as follows.
ECHO 1—ECHO 2—>ECHO 3^ECHO 4
