Probe Compensation
To ensure that measurements are accurate, always com
pensate the probe before using. To compensate the probe,
touch the probe tip to the ,3V CAL OUT jack on the 305
front panel and display several cycles of calibrator square
wave at approximately A divisions in amplitude. Adjust
probe compensation through hole in the compensation box
for the best front-corner response to the signal as shown in
Figure 10.
