Torquing the Wheel Nuts
Torque the wheel nuts to 94 to 122 N∙m (70 to 90 ft-lb) in a crossing pattern.
WARNING
Failing to maintain proper torque of the wheel nuts could result in death or serious
injury.
Maintain proper torque of the wheel nuts.
Checking the Rear-Wheel Alignment
1. Rotate the steering wheel to position the rear wheels straight ahead.
2. Prepare the machine for maintenance.
3. At axle height, measure the center-to-center distance at the front and rear of the
steering tires.
Note: The rear wheel toe-in adjustment is correct if the difference between the front
wheel measurement and the rear wheel measurement is 6 mm (1/4 inch) or less.
