2.Positionthebladesidetosideonthe
insidespindleofthesidemowerdeckand
correspondingoutsidespindleofthefront
mowerdeck.
Note:Measurefromtheoortothetipof
thecuttingedgeontheinsideedgeofside
mowerdecktothecorrespondingoutsideedge
offrontmowerdeckandcompare.Theside
mower-deckmeasurementshouldbewithin3
mm(1/8inch)ofthefrontmowerdeck.
Note:All3mowerdeckcasterwheelsshould
remainonthegroundwithcounterbalance
applied.
Note:Ifadjustmentsneedtobemadetomatch
thecutbetweenthefrontandsidemowerdecks,
maketheadjustmentstothesidemowerdecks
only.
3.Iftheinsideedgeofthesidemowerdeckistoo
highrelativetotheoutsideedgeofthefront
mowerdeck,removeashimfromthebottomof
thefront,insidecasterarmonthesidemower
deck(Figure35).
Note:Checkthemeasurementsbetweenthe
outsideedgesofbothsidemowerdecksand
theinsideedgeofthesidemowerdecktothe
outsideedgeofthefrontmowerdeckagain.
4.Iftheinsideedgeisstilltoohigh,removean
additionalshimfromthebottomoffront,inside
casterarmofthesidemowerdeckandashim
fromthefront,outsidecasterarmoftheside
mowerdeck.
5.Iftheinsideedgeofthesidemowerdeckis
toolowrelativetotheoutsideedgeofthefront
mowerdeck,addashimtothebottomofthe
front,insidecasterarmonthesidemowerdeck.
Note:Checkthemeasurementbetweenthe
outsideedgesofbothsidemowerdecksand
theinsideedgeofthesidemowerdecktothe
outsideedgeoffrontmowerdeckagain.
6.Iftheinsideedgeisstilltoolow,addanadditional
shimtothebottomoffront,insidecasterarm
ofthesidemowerdeckandaddashimtothe
front,outsidecasterarmofthesidemowerdeck.
7.Whenthecuttingheightmatchesattheedges
offrontandsidemowerdecks,verifythatthe
sidemower-deckpitchisstill8to11mm(5/16
to7/16inch).
