materialsaroundtheexhaustsystem.
•Nevertouchahotexhaustsystem

•Neverstandnearoraroundtheexhaust

IftheenginehasnotcompletedasuccessfulReset,
Parked,orRecoveryregenerationintheprevious100
hoursofengineoperation,theenginecomputerwill
attempttoperformaresetregeneration.
SettingtheInhibitRegen
ResetRegenerationOnly
Note:IfyousettheInfoCentertoinhibitregeneration,
theInfoCenterdisplaysADVISORY#185(Figure43)
every15minuteswhiletheenginerequestsareset
regeneration.

settingtopreventtheenginecomputerfrom

settingbacktotheOFFpositionwhenthemachine
isawayfromtrees,brush,tallgrass,orother
temperature-sensitiveplantsormaterials.
Important:Whenyoushutofftheengineand
startitagain,theinhibitregensettingdefaultsto
OFF.
