Toprovideproperperformanceandlongsprayerlife,follow
theseguidelinesfortherst100operatinghours:
•Checktheuidandengineoillevelsregularlyandbealert
forindicationsofoverheatinginanycomponentofthe
sprayer.
•Afterllingthetank,checkthetankstrapsforanyplay.
Tightenasnecessary.
•Afterstartingacoldengine,letitwarmupforabout
15secondsbeforeaccelerating.
•Avoidhardbrakingsituationsfortherstseveralhoursof
newsprayerbreak-inoperation.Newbrakeliningsmay
notbeatoptimumperformanceuntilseveralhoursofuse
hascausedthebrakestobecomeburnished(broken-in).
•Avoidracingtheengine.
•RefertotheMaintenancesectionforanyspeciallowhour
checks.
OperatingtheSprayer
TooperatetheMulti-ProSprayerrstllthespraytank,then
applythesolutiontotheworkarea,andnallycleanthetank.
Itisimportantthatyoucompleteallthreeofthesestepsin
successiontoavoiddamagingthesprayer.Forexample,do
notmixandaddchemicalsinthespraytankatnightandthen
sprayinthemorning.Thiswouldleadtoseparationofthe
chemicalsandpossibledamagetothesprayercomponents.

Chemicalsarehazardousandcancausepersonal
injury.
•Readthedirectionsonthechemicallabels
beforehandlingthechemicalsandfollow
allmanufacturerrecommendationsand
precautions.
•Keepchemicalsawayfromyourskin.Should
contactoccur,washtheaffectedareathoroughly
withsoapandcleanwater.
•Weargogglesandanyotherprotective
equipmentrecommendedbythechemical
manufacturer.
TheMulti-ProSprayerhasbeenspecicallydesignedtohave
highdurabilityinordertogiveitthelongsprayerlifeyou
need.Differentmaterialshavebeenchosenforspecic
reasonsatdifferentlocationsonyoursprayertomeetthis
goal.Unfortunatelythereisnosinglematerialwhichis
perfectforallforeseeableapplications.
Somechemicalsaremoreaggressivethanothersandeach
chemicalinteractsdifferentlywithvariousmaterials.Some
consistencies(e.g.wettablepowders,charcoal)aremore
abrasiveandleadtohigherwearrates.Ifachemicalis
availableinaformulationthatwouldprovideincreasedlifeto
thesprayer,usethisalternativeformulation.
Asalways,remembertocleanyoursprayerthoroughlyafter
allapplications.Thiswilldothemosttoensureyoursprayer
hasalongandtroublefreelife.

FillingtheFreshWaterTank
Alwaysllthefreshwatertankwithcleanwaterbefore
handlingormixinganychemicals.
ThefreshwatertankislocatedontheROPS,behindthe
passengerseat(Figure34).Itsuppliesasourceoffreshwater
foryoutowashchemicalsoffofyourskin,eyes,orother
surfacesinthecaseofaccidentalexposure.
Tollthetank,unscrewthecaponthetopofthetankand
llthetankwithfreshwater.Replacethecap.
Toopenthefreshwatertankspigot,turntheleveronthe
spigot.

Important:Ensurethatthechemicalsyouwillbeusing
arecompatibleforusewithViton(seethemanufacturer's
label;itshouldindicateifitisnotcompatible).Usinga
chemicalthatisnotcompatiblewithVitonwilldegrade
theO-ringsinthesprayer,causingleaks.
Important:Thetankmarkingsareforreferenceonly
andcannotbeconsideredaccurateforcalibration.
Important:Afterllingthetankforthersttime,check
thetankstrapsforanyplay.Tightenasnecessary.
1.Stopthesprayeronalevelsurface,stoptheengine,
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Determinetheamountofwaterneededtomixthe
amountofchemicalyouneedasprescribedbythe
chemicalmanufacturer.
3.Openthetankcoveronthespraytank.
