4.12 Data Validation
There are three items on data validation :
1:N Checking : Use data 1 to check with multiple data continuously.
1:1 Checking : Use data 1 to check with single data.
Lookup table : This function is to prevent users from entering wrong data. By
inputting particular barcode to restrict scan results, MS916
lookup table function will scan only allowed barcode that
make the data more accurately.
4.12.1 1:1 / 1:N function
To define 1:1/1:N function, please enter,
1) Main Menu /Data & Memory/ Data Validation.
2) Select "1:1 Checking" or "1:N Checking"
3) Select CHECKING START POSITION for Data 1 and Data 2
Data1 is valid data,
Start Position: 1--255
Data 2 is data to be checked with Data1,
Start Position: Any, 1--255
4) Select CHECKING LENGTH (All Characters, 1--255)
"All Characters" means from Data 1 start position to its end.
5) Enable/ Disable PAUSE SCAN WHEN CHECKING FAIL.
Once enabled this function, press page down key to exit when the
screen shows checking fail.
6) Enable/ Disable CHECKING SCREEN INDICATOR
users can choose whether to display oron the screen when
checking the data.
7) To reset all the setting, please choose disable.
