OVERVIEW
This screen displays a cutaway view of the chiller
evaporator. All setpoints relating to the evaporator side
of the chiller are maintained on this screen. Animation
of the evaporation process indicates whether the chiller
is presently in a RUN condition. Animation of the liq-
uid flow lines indicate chilled liquid flow.
DISPLAY ONLY
Chilled Liquid Flow Switch (Open/Closed)
Displays whether the liquid flow is present in the evap-
orator.
Chilled Liquid Pump Start Contact (Open/
Closed)
Displays the status of the contact on the I/O board used
to control the Chilled Liquid Pump Motor Starter.
Evaporator Pressure
Displays the present refrigerant pressure in the evaporator.
Evaporator Saturation Temperature
Displays the present saturation temperature in the
evaporator.
Return Chilled Liquid Temperature
Displays the temperature of the liquid as it enters the
evaporator.
Leaving Chilled Liquid Temperature
Displays the temperature of the liquid as it leaves the
evaporator.
Chilled Liquid Flow
Displays the rate of chilled liquid flowing through the
evaporator. This text and data field only appears if
FSE1- Evaporator Flow Sensor Enable is set for En-
abled on Configuration Screen 2.
Evaporator Refrigerant Temperature
Displays the temperature of the refrigerant in the evap-
orator, if the sensor is present.
Small Temperature Difference
Displays the difference between the Leaving Chilled
Liquid temperature and the Evaporator Refrigerant
temperature. The Evaporator Refrigerant temperature
will be represented by the Refrigerant Temperature
sensor input if the sensor is present, otherwise it will be
represented by the Evaporator Saturation temperature.
Leaving Chilled Liquid Temperature Setpoints
–Setpoint
Displays the present setpoint to which the chiller is op-
erating, whether controlled locally or remotely.
