6.16 Emergency Override Switch
Your ARB Fridge Freeze is equipped with an Emergency Override switch. If the
electronic circuit boards fail, this switch will override the electronic controls and operates
the compressor independently of these controls.
The Emergency Override Switch will run the compressor at full capacity and continue
to cool the fridge compartment causing the fridge contents to freeze.
The electronic controls, including the battery protection feature, will not operate. For
this reason, the Emergency Override should only be used when an electronic failure
has occurred.
To activate the Emergency Override feature:
 Slide the Emergency Override switch from NORMAL USE to EMERGENCY
OVERRIDE (see Figure 15).
