Theloopbacktestisstartedmanuallyatthelocalendortheremoteend.

HandlingProcedure

1.Ensurethattheremoteloopbackresponseparameteroftheportthatreportsthealarm

isdisabled.

2.ChecktheETH_EFM_LOOPBACKalarmoftheremoteNEandndouttheportthat

initiatesloopbacktowardstheremoteNE.

Thisalarmdoesnotindicatesafault.Iftheportisnotexpectedtobeinvolvedinthe

loopbacktesttoavoidtrafcowinterruption,doasfollows:

1.SettheremoteloopbackresponsetoDisableforthisport.

2.Avoidinitiatingloopbacktestfortheportatboththelocalandtheoppositeend.
