theprotocolmessage.IfthereexistsviciousprotocolattackorLinuxvirtualbridge,
receivingunlawfulprotocolmessagewillbringtonetshockingortopologychanging
abnormally.Theportwillbeclosedafterusingtheprotection.Afterawhile,tocheckthe
netisnormalornot.Ifitisnormal,itwillrecovertooriginalstate.
Rootprotectionisfunctionisfortheprotectionofrootswitch.Inthenetworkthatneedsto
appointswitchasrootswitch,ifthereexistsviciousprotocolattackorLinuxvirtualbridge,
itwillbringthechangetotherootandnetabnormal.Afterusingtherootprotectionof
theport,iftheportreceivestheprotocolinformationpriortorootswitch,itwilltransferthe
porttoblockingstate.Thisportnolongertransmitsmessage,anddiscardsthereceived
protocolmessagetoprotectthestatusoftherootswitch.
Loopprotectionfunctionisfortheprotectionofloopnettopology.Inthenetworkwhere
ringexists,redundanttopologywillbeinthestateofbackup,andinthestateofblocking
aftertheportissteady.Ifthereisnoneedtotransfertotransmissionstate,itispossible
tosetporttoloopprotect.Oncetheportwantstotransform,itwillinspireloopprotection
andsettheporttoblockingstate.
Whenconguringoneport,onlyoneofthethreeprotectionscanbecongured:BPDU
protection,rootprotectionandloopprotection.
ConguringSTP
Inthedefaultconguration,theMSTPonlyhastheinstancewithins_idas0.Thisinstance
alwaysexistsanduserscannotmanuallydeleteit.ThisinstanceismappedwithVLANs1
to4094.
