DISPLAY ACTIONCAUSE
The meter shuts off
after three seconds.
Clock has stopped.
Clock is slow after
the meter is
turned on.
Insufficient battery power – no
further tests can be performed.
The meter was exposed to tem-
peratures below +14° F (-10° C)
and the batteries are starting to
freeze.
Temperature was outside the
indicated range during testing.
It is too warm or too cold for the
test, i.e. warmer than +104° F
(+40° C) or colder than +50° F
(+10° C).
Insert two new batteries (type AAA).
Always store the meter above +14° F (-10° C).
The displayed result may only be used for reference pur-
poses. It is saved along with the thermometer symbol.
To perform an accurate test, let the meter and test drum
slowly cool down or warm up and repeat the test. The
optimum measuring temperature is between +50° F
(+10° C) and +104° F (+40° C).
