3.1.4 Clear a warning or fault message
Confirm fault messages individually.
Press the button until there are no more fault messages.
Each stored fault message must be cleared individually. Cancelling a fault message does not remove the
fault; it is simply no longer displayed. The message will be displayed again the next time the tractor is
started up.
3.1.5 General faults
Engine will not start
Fuel tank is empty. Fill up fuel.
Air in the fuel system. Bleed air from the fuel system.
Fuel system clogged with dirt. Clean the filter inlet. If necessary, change filter
cartridge and bleed the system.
In very cold conditions: cold-start facility faulty. Repair cold start facility (workshop task).
In winter, below - 5°C: fuel supply blocked by ice or
paraffin wax.
Unblock filter inlet and fuel filter. Switch to winter
fuel. Bleed air from system.
No starter contact/faulty starter unit. Depress clutch (starter lockout!) Check power
connection of battery starter.
No power supply to electric shut-off. Check fuse and connectors.
Injector nozzle faulty. Workshop job.
Fuel pump not working. Workshop job.
Injection cycle incorrect. Workshop job.
Compression too low, (e.g. valves leaking, piston
ring seized, cylinder head gasket damaged, valve
seats damaged).
Workshop job.
Common rail relief valve faulty. Workshop job.
