• Open or remove cover in cab floor.
NOTE:
(see chapter 3.4.4 Access to mechanical
emergency operation, page 235 ).
• Attach auxiliary lever (A) to transmission
adjustment hexagon.
NOTE:
Auxiliary handle is included in the standard delivery
and is located in the tool box.
• Carefully engage clutch pedal.
The tractor starts moving in the last selected travel
direction and accelerates up to the selected
transmission ratio.

• If the auxiliary lever is turned to the left during
forward travel, the tractor accelerates. If the
auxiliary lever is turned to the right, the tractor
slows down because it is braked.
• If the auxiliary lever is turned to the right while
reversing, the tractor accelerates. If the
auxiliary lever is turned to the left, the tractor is
braked and slows down.

3.4.6 Towing instructions

CAUTION:
Damage caused by improper towing: Towing in a gear other than neutral will damage the
gearbox. Before towing, ensure that the gearbox is in the neutral position.
CAUTION:
Damage caused by improper towing: Towing with an insufficient oil level in the axles and/
or in the gearbox will result in damage to the gearbox/axles. If there is a visible loss of oil
in particular, before towing ensure that the oil level in the axles and/or gearbox is
sufficient.
3.4.6.1 Mechanical neutral position using auxiliary lever
WARNING:
Serious injury or death caused by the vehicle rolling away: If the vehicle is parked with the
gearbox in the mechanical neutral position and is not secured, it may roll away and hit
people, in particular on inclines. This can result in injuries, and in serious cases in death.
After stopping the vehicle, always secure it against rolling away before putting the
gearbox into the mechanical neutral position. To do this, proceed as follows.
Procedure

Engine off.

Apply the parking brake.
