Removing the computer base

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in "Removing the hard drive".
3 Remove the solid-state drive.
4 Remove the wireless card.
5 Remove the rear-I/O cover.
Procedure
1 Note the cable routing and remove the antenna cables from the routing
guides on the computer base.
2 Disconnect the tron-light cable from the system board.
3 Open the latch and disconnect the macro-keys cable, and then remove the
cable from the routing guide on the computer base.
4 Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable, and then
remove the cable from the routing guide on the computer base.
5 Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable, and then remove the
cable from the routing guide on the computer base.
