Troubleshooting
PROformance and Classic: No Condensate Cooling(E15)
Is the B3 probe above the set point?
No
Condensate cooling is not active unless the B3 probe is above
the set point.
Yes
Is the incoming water line connected to the untreated water
inlet on the back of the appliance?
No
Connect the cold water supply line to the untreated water
inlet and test.
Yes
Is the untreated water supply turned on?
No
Turn on the untreated water supply line.
Yes
Is there line voltage across the Y2 solenoid?
No
Determine which leg is missing and correct:
• A1 is L1 supplied from the Control Board(CB) terminalX04
pin1
• A1 is L2 supplied from the terminalblock27-17
Yes
Is the Y2 solenoid opening?
No
Replace the faulty solenoid.
Yes
Is there water at the condensate cooling injection port?
No
Repair or remove the obstruction between the Y2 solenoid
and the cooling port.
Yes
Is the injection pipe clear of obstructions?
No
Clean the cooling injection pipe.
Yes
Is the condensate pan drain hose plugged?
No
Unplug the drain hose and retest.
Yes
Inspect and/or replace the B3 probe and its wiring.
