Troubleshooting
PROformance and Classic: Cleaning System is Not Operating
Is the Y4 cleaning pump being energized at its timed cycle?
No
Determine which leg of the power is missing at the Y4
solenoid and correct.
• A1 is L1 from the Control Board(CB) terminalX03 pin3.
• A2 is L2 supplied from the Control Board(CB) terminalX03
pin5 which is supplied from the CB terminalX03 pin6.
Yes
Is the Y4 cleaning pump running?
No
Replace the faulty cleaning pump.
Yes
Is there cleaning water at the pump inlet?
No
Make sure the condensate pan clean out hose is unplugged
and that the Y2 cooling water solenoid is operating properly.
Yes
Is there cleaning water at the water manifold inlet from the
Y4 pump?
No
Inspect or replace the hose between Y4 cleaning pump and
the water manifold. If the hose is okay, replace the faulty Y4
cleaning pump.
Yes
Is there cleaning water at the injection pipe?
No
Remove the obstruction between the water manifold and the
injection pipe.
Yes
Is the injection pipe clear of debris?
No
Clean or replace the injection pipe as needed.
Yes
The cleaning pump and plumbing circuit should be working
properly.
