Troubleshooting
Error Code E94
Request E94 service kit(includes Interface Board(IB), Control Board(CB), Controller Area Network(CAN) cable, and Variable Frequency
Drive(VFD) and dispatch service agent.
Is the VFD version current?
20-10 and 20-20 models have
two(2) VFDs.
No
Replace the VFD(s)
with the current
version.
Yes
Disconnect the VFD
communication cableat the
CB terminalX16.
• If there is only one(1) VFD, replace it.
• If there are two(2) VFDs, reconnect
X16 and continue.

Still getting an E94 error?
Disconnect the VFD1 at VFD1 -
S600.
Yes
Replace
the
VFD1.
No
Still getting an E94 error?
Disconnect the IB to CB CAN
cableat the CB terminalX15.
Yes
Still getting an E94 error?
No
Replace the current
VFD with a new VFD.
Reconnect the VFD1 at VFD1 - S600.
Disconnect the VFD2 at VFD2 -
S600.
Yes
Replace
the
VFD2.
No
Still getting an E94 error?
Disconnect both ends of the
current CAN cable, inspect
the terminals and firmly
reattach the CAN cable.
Yes
Still getting an E94 error?
No
The appliance should
operate properly.
Replace the dual VFD cable.
Yes

If not, restart at top of page.
