Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Remove the right or left mat (1), by lifting
it with your hands.

Unscrew and remove the screw (2) and
take the washer.
aCAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tangs and/or their
seats.
Handle the plastic and painted compo-
nents with care and avoid scraping or
damaging them.

By means of a screwdriver, lift the lower
part of the inspection cover (3) with
force, until it comes out of its seat.
aCAUTION
Upon reassembly, fit the tangs correctly
in the appropriate seats.
