The SPORT GEAR mapping has no pow-
er limits, and is suitable for sporting ap-
plications.
De modaliteit SPORT GEAR heeft geen
vermogensbeperker, en is geschikt voor
sportief gebruik.
When in AUTO-DRIVE mode, gear shift-
ing is automatic; riders only need to op-
erate the throttle and the brakes.
Gear are shifted continuously, truly suit-
able for riding in the city or for tours.
When the transmission is in AUTO-
DRIVE mode, another mode can be used
when braking or decelerating: the SEMI-
AUTOMATIC mode. This mode can be
used if the rider wishes to downshift sev-
eral gears or wishes to have more engine
braking when at an emergency braking or
special manoeuvres.
When in AUTO-DRIVE mode, if the
GEAR DOWN button is pressed, the
mode changes to semiautomatic mode.
In this case, besides the word DRIVE, the
display also shows the gear.
When in semiautomatic mode, if the
throttle control is not excessively twisted,
it is possible to downshift by repeatedly
pressing the GEAR DOWN button. When
the operation is finished, the vehicle con-
tinues working in semiautomatic mode.
If you accelerate or press the GEAR UP
button, the vehicle exits the semiauto-
matic mode and the gear indication is no
longer displayed, and the bike goes back
to AUTO-DRIVE mode.
In de modaliteit AUTO-DRIVE gebeurt
het schakelen automatisch, en de gebrui-
ker moet enkel de gashendel en de rem-
men gebruiken.
Het schakelen gebeurt continu, en is per-
fect voor gebruik in de stad en voor toe-
ristisch gebruik.
Wanneer geschakeld wordt in AUTO-
DRIVE, kan tijdens het remmen of het
vertragen nog een andere modaliteit ge-
bruikt worden: de HALFAUTOMATI-
SCHE modaliteit. Deze modaliteit kan
gebruikt worden wanneer u meerdere
versnellingen wil terugschakelen of wan-
neer u meer op de motor wil remmen
tijdens het remmen in noodgevallen of tij-
dens speciale manoeuvres.
Wanneer de modaliteit AUTO-DRIVE ge-
bruikt wordt, wordt overgegaan naar de
halfautomatische modaliteit wanneer op
de knop GEAR DOWN (lagere versnel-
ling) gedrukt wordt. In dit geval wordt
naast de opschrift DRIVE ook de versnel-
ling weergegeven.
Wanneer de halfautomatische modaliteit
gebruikt wordt, is het mogelijk wanneer
het gascommando niet excessief ge-
draaid wordt om terug te schakelen door
de knop GEAR DOWN (lagere versnel-
ling) in te drukken. Na deze handeling
