To open:
Press down to the left of the lid
(arrow).
To extinguish a cigarette, knock off the
ash and insert a short distance only
into the funnel-shaped hole.
To empty:
With the ashtray open, move the lever
in the direction of the arrow. The ash-
tray can be removed.
Cigarette lighter
Press in to operate. The cigarette
lighter can be removed when it pops
back out.
aOnly hold the handle end of the
cigarette lighter, or burn injuries may
be caused.c
Cigarette lighter socket
This can also be used to power a
hand lamp, a car vacuum cleaner or
similar items rated at not more than
12Volts, app. 200Watts. Make sure
that the socket is not damaged by
attempting to insert plugs of the
wrong pattern.
aThe cigarette lighter remains
operational when the ignition key has
been removed. For this reason, do not
leave children in the car unattended.c
