BMW Service, inspections
and the Annual Inspection.
Have all maintenance and
repair work carried out con-
firmed in the "Service" chap-
ter in this manual.

formation and therefore pos-
sesses the necessary tech-
nical know-how. BMW Mo-
torrad therefore recommends
that you consult your autho-
rized BMW motorcycle retailer
on all questions concerning
your motorcycle.

To ensure that your BMW
is always in optimum condi-
tion, we recommend that you
have the maintenance work
required for your motorcycle
carried out, preferably by your
authorized BMW motorcycle
retailer. For generous treat-
ment of claims submitted af-
ter the warranty period has
expired, evidence of regular
maintenance is essential.
Certain signs of wear, more-
over, may otherwise not be
noticed until it is too late to
correct them at moderate
cost. The workshop person-
nel at BMW motorcycle retail-
ers are familiar with your mo-
torcycle and can take action
before minor problems can
turn into major trouble. By
having the necessary repairs
done properly and in good
time, you save time and mon-
ey in the long run.
