4.10 Wiegand Interface for Card Readers
The AMC2-4W provides four ports for connecting a maximum of
4 readers with Wiegand interfaces. Each interface is connected
using a 10-pin pluggable screw - refer to Connecting Diagrams,
page 63 .

These interfaces are point-to-point connections, and each can
support only a single reader with a maximum cable length of
90m (300ft) for 24 AWG or 150m (500ft) for 22 AWG. Readers
are addressed according to their respective interface numbers.

diagram of the Wiegand reader interface .
