7. Maintenance
! Work on electrical equipment is only to be
performed by persons with sufficient knowledge
and experience of electrical systems!
7.1 Cleaning

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and coarse
workshop cloths!
¶ The housing and the LCD are only to be cleaned
using a soft cloth and neutral cleaning agents.
8. Decommissioning
8.1 Temporary shutdown
In the event of lengthy periods of non-use:

¶ If the BAT 645 is passed on, all the documentation
included in the scope of delivery must be handed
over together with the unit.
¶ The BAT 645 is only ever to be transported in the
original or equivalent packaging.
¶ Unplug the electrical connection.
¶ Heed the notes on initial commissioning.
8.3 Disposal and scrapping
BAT 645, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
¶ Do not dispose BAT 645 into household
waste.

Dispose of used electrical and electronic
devices, including cables, accessories and
batteries, separately from household waste.
